In the powder coating process, parts are cleaned and pretreated before moving to the powder application booth. Parts with oil, dirt and grease are stripped to the original surface substrate to allow for the most complete and consistent adhesion in coating available. Because the dry powder adheres to the part by electrostatic energy and is cured immediately in our infrared oven, the powder coating will not run, drip or sag, resulting in a consistent thickness. Hanson’s trained technicians can easily coat a variety of part sizes and shapes. The finished surface is unsurpassed for durability and toughness.
