Today, Hanson’s focus is much the same as Emil’s. Hanson Companies is committed to offering it’s contract manufacturing customers a quality, value-added service.

Our plant is located on a 40 acre building site 15 miles southeast of Willmar, Minnesota.

Within Hanson’s manufacturing complex, our facility includes: a concrete clock plant, a precast concrete plant, a cut-to-length sheet metal line, powder coating line, and the main manufacturing building.

Today, Hanson Companies’ modern facility consists of 94,500 square feet of heated manufacturing space and 20,000 square feet of cold warehouse. We have a non-congested “focused factory” plant layout.

Our evolution positions us today as a supplier to the truck equipment, automotive, material handling, bulk material storage, concrete and various other industries.

For over 85 years and four generations, the Hanson family has been involved with manufacturing and has grown to symbolize quality, economy, and dependability.

Hanson Companies, formerly Hanson Silo Company, was founded in 1916 by Emil Hanson. Emil’s goal: To serve the customer’s needs by manufacturing quality products at the best value to the customer.

Early on, Hanson Silo made a name for ourselves in the agriculture industry providing storage structures and feeding equipment to the American livestock farmer. Hanson has survived the Great Depression, two World Wars, and some very rocky times in the Ag market by being committed to delivering what the customer needs.

Our raw materials are housed indoors, completely out of the elements. We are capable of unloading 53’ trailers with a six-ton overhead crane. We can stock the material or send it JIT into production. This building also has an ample amount of pallet racking for various other raw materials or components.

Because we manufacture so many different products that use the same materials, we can buy at a larger discount. What does this mean to you? We pass the cost savings on to our customers.
